I am happily married and mother of three adventuresome adults. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors in a breathtakingly beautiful part of Alberta. We love to go hiking, cycling, skiing, camping, gardening and travelling together. There are so many intriguing and entertaining things to do in this part of the world, including our ongoing exploration of historical roots, geographical marvels and cultural activities. It's simply impossible to be bored in the Hinton area, even in the quiet of winter. There's always something fun to do!
Community volunteerism is an integral part of my life and personal philosophy. I feel it is very important to support community whenever possible. One of my proudest volunteer moments includes the establishment of the 4th annual Coats for Kids(families)program for the Hinton area. Local businesses, volunteers were able to deliver 600 coats to 414 people between September-December 2015, and we have more coats in storage for this fall.
In 1987, I was thrilled to present Rick Hansen with a fundraising cheque and I had the honour of representing Hinton during the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay in 2012. As a dedicated long distance marathon runner, I have learned discipline and perseverance. These qualities have served me well, not only in sports but in business too. Whether it is my steadfast commitment to Hinton and area,or to my real estate practice, I am "in it for the long run".
I am grateful for the support and encouragement I receive from my community. I owe enormous gratitude to the people I have worked with, the parents I have met at my children's schools, my neighbours, the folks I have (literally) bumped into at the ski hill or met for the first time as clients because they all provide me with an opportunity to grow and become a better person. Simply put, I am grateful for the trust they bestow upon me.
If I can help you in any way, please do not hestitate to call. Hinton is a very special place~ a gateway to the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
